Abstract

At the end of December 2019, cases of pneumonia associated with a novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) have been identified in Wuhan City and the disease spread to most provinces of the whole country. We thought about the issues in the process of response to this infectious disease. And we proposed that various control measures should be taken before the pathogens were identified; definition of high-sensitivity suspected cases need to be developed as soon as possible in the early stage of the epidemic to detect and isolate the suspected patients and their close contacts; nosocomial infections should be strictly controlled; community residents are mobilized to actively participate in the control of disease; scientific propaganda are needed to eliminate public panic. All these suggestions are needed to comprehensively control the disease outbreak, and help other regions in China to carry out effective prevention and control measures, and protect people's health.
